County is looking to help reduce this risk that will hopefully affect rates.  Working with the State on several bills.
    Assessor’s Office: protests were down this year.

  • Fundraising has not been good.  Only $15,000 so far
    1. Still have $60,000 to use to help children
  • Have expanded screenings from 3 to 10 schools in PSD
  • 95% of the $$$ utilized was spent in the first year, but since Cover All Colorado went into effect, only 5% of the funds have been spent.
  • Hired Chad Scott, Director of Philanthropy
    1. Possible fundraiser in April 2026

City of Ft. Collins - Transfort Optimization Study Update - Melina Dempsey and Steve Zupparo
  • 5-10 year strategic plan
    1. Ridership growth
    2. Improved frequency, etc.
    3. $13 Million short annually for operations
    4. Considering shift from traditional fixed routes to more microtransit (vans, etc.), customized for users
  • They would like feedback on the 3 transit scenarios
    1. Travel Patterns
      • N/S/E/W
        • High frequency
    2. Rider Demand
      • Minimize transfers
      • Prioritize transit reliant communities
      • High frequency
    3. Condensed with Microtransit
      • Less fixed route
      • Highest transit propensity
      • Microtransit in lower density areas
        • Microtransit is more expensive
          • $25-$30 per person vs $7 per person
